The volcanological\/alpine guide, after a briefing, will lead you towards the cable car (ticket \u20ac50 round-trip not included) to begin the ascending up to 2500 m a.s.l.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll begin the trekking until 3000 m a.s.l (maximum altitude reachable due to a municipal order) going through volcanic sand extensions, old and recent lava flows.<\/p>\n
Once you reach the base of the Summit Craters, you\u2019ll observe the suggestive scenery unique in the whole world; from here, you can feel the greatness of this amazing volcano.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll begin descending towards 2500 m a.s.l with a break to have lunch (not included) with the visit of the 2001 crater, still fuming, at 2700 m a.s.l.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll then be back to the starting point to end the excursion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n In particular for this type of excursions, Etna Est guides have the authority to make changes to the excursions or stop the tour at any time if safety conditions are not good enough due to weather or possible volcanic hazards.<\/p>\n In order to avoid any risk, it is good to be fully aware of your health conditions and inform your guide about them.
