Full description
When you participate in the Etna at Sunset tour, you will get our free transfer that will pick you up directly from your accommodation and take you to discover Etna’s volcanic landscapes.

On the way, our environmental guides will tell you about the history of the volcano, how it was formed and why it looks the way it does today.

You will learn what fauna and flora inhabit it and what the most important, spectacular and destructive eruptions have been. The first stop on the Etna al Tramonto excursion will be the magnificent Bove Valley, the valley on the east side of the volcano that has been home to numerous lava flows for millennia.

After a short stop, the second stage will include a visit to a lava flow cave, a very suggestive moment in which we enter the belly of the earth, always in total safety thanks to Etna Est’s free equipment (helmets and torches).

Finally, the last stage will take place at the height of 2000 meters above sea level where, once accustomed to the new conditions of altitude, we will start an easy level trekking among the inactive craters that offer a unique spectacle in the world, especially at sunset time in a riot of colors!
